So after a few hours of looking at real Threaphosa Blondi (aka bird-eating spiders) I decided to give making mu-chan another go.
I have to say I am ECSTATIC with the results. :'D Lookie Mu-chan! More textile fanart! <3 <3 Download for full size. :'3 Made from: yarn, seed beads, small hematite beads, floral wire, pipe cleaners, and fiberfill. :'3 Based on my own pattern. I'll go find the edge and live there, so that I can catch those who are about to fall off the face of the world.
I have two other spiders done with this pattern, one is up on my gallery, the other is waiting for me to get off my lazy bum and take proper photos of her.
