One over each shoulder blade in the shape of a bird's wing in ink that's two shades lighter than her skin tone, and a stylized black and purple spider tattoo over her heart. Strengths: Due to a rare medical/genetic condition her body produces mass amounts of chakra which she can use in ways similar to how the Aburame clan use their Kikaichu beetles, but in much more limited use.

Weakness: Due to the same medical condition that gives her so much chakra, if she doesn't burn off enough of it each day it affects her breathing to the point it becomes painful and shallow. If the excess chakra isn't discharged from her system quickly enough her breathing can stop all together.

Special Abilities: She can make undetectable chakra pockets under her skin to hide several thousand senbon-needle over the spans of her body. Three pockets in each thigh, two in each calf, one in each upper arm, also one each in her forearms. The chakra pockets hold five hundred senbon-needle each. In total seven thousand senbon can be hidden under her skin.

Good Qualities: Koi is a good listener, and an extremely fast learner.

Bad Habits: Koiko has an oral fixation that causes her to chew on her lips, or nails, or a senbon-needle.

Temperament: Quick to smile, generally a happy person, and somewhat shy with people she doesn't know well. But once she knows someone her true colors come through. Koiko is the perpetual pervert that puts even the dirtiest minds to shame. In the words of her adoptive sister Ayala her "Most innocent thoughts are dirtier than even my most horribly perverted thoughts... And, believe me, I have some doozies..." Which is not entirely true, Koiko does have those rare moments where her thoughts are cleaner than a hospital surgical room (before surgery, of course), but those moments are few and far between.

Background: Koiko doesn't remember much of her childhood, except for the day she found Suki. She had been five and the small bird had been injured from falling from it's nest, so she took it home and nursed it back to health. After that Suki chose to stay with Koiko who quickly learned to speak the bird's language. She only barely remembers graduating from the academy. She was assigned to a team of herself, another girl named Kimi, and a boy named Kumo. She quickly developed a crush on Kumo, who taught her a lot about insects and arachnids. The two of them grew closer together as the years passed and began seeing each other outside of training and missions. At the age of 27 Kumo had proposed to Koi and they had been engaged for a year. At this point Kumo's passion for spiders had passed to Koiko and had become her passion as well. They had been assigned to a reconnaissance mission a year later just before they had planned to wed. During the mission both Kimi and Kumo were cut down in front of Koi who was at the time restrained. After a long fight Koiko managed to get away by the skin of her teeth. Two days of hiding and healing passed before she'd made it back to Konoha. After that mission Koiko had herself permanently assigned to work in the Konoha Hospital and currently will only take missions at the Hokage's insistence. Kumo's family had never been fond of Koi and when they learned of his death they denied her any sort of token or reminder of him. So she had a black and purple stylized spider tattooed over her heart to always have a reminder of him and the passion for spiders he gave her. It has been nine years since Kumo's death, and it still continues to cut Koi very deeply.

Pet/Animal Companion: Koiko has a Long Winged Harrier named Suki [link] . Suki is very protective of Koiko and has a penchant for trying to eat bugs (which Koi will usually stop her from doing). Suki in flight. [link]
