My uncle Jack (my favorite uncle at that) died of heart failure on Wednesday the 8th. I just got home (Austin, TX) from a trip up to KY to see my family and attend his "wake" (aka his "celebration of life") there was no body. He was cremated, half his ashes are going to stay with his wife, the other half will be scattered along with the ashes of his favorite dog (who died many many years ago) Bayshu, in their favorite place to camp. The scattering will be done by uncle Jack's best friends.

Uncle Jack did a ton of work in reforestation in Alaska and was an awesome (if not somewhat off-the-wall) guy and will be missed a lot.

Prayers/good thoughts/lit candles are always good, especially for me since I am still having random sobbing breakdowns.

Hopefully I will have something good to post about soon, possibly involving cosplay? :'O
